Drinking & Smoking
Consumption of alcohol on the Warsaw streets and in public parks is outlawed.
Smoking ban in public places was introduced on 15th November 2010. According to the bill public buildings, restaurants, bars, pubs, clubs, taxis, bus & tram stops are smoke free places.
Bicycling & Drinking
Warsaw Municipal Police and Guard are at war with cyclists. They cooperate with CCTV operators having an eye on areas close to popular clubs, bars and pubs.
We strongly recommend NOT getting on your bicycle after drinking alcohol. You are risking a night in custody and a 1000 PLN fine.
